Abstract:	The purpose of this research is to analyze the new EU programmes for 2007-2013 in light of the effects of EU enlargement. It is understood, therefore, primarily analyze further the effects of the 2000-2006 EU programmes to verify the level of maturity achieved by central government and the lessons drawn in the management of projects co-financing. In previous EU programmes achievements in the field of administrative modernization and institutional strengthening have been significant, especially in terms of increased management capacity of all government by introducing mechanisms for internal control management, the strengthening of planning structures and evaluation, the adoption of evaluation as an integral part of the programming process.
