| Abstract: | PURPOSE. This is a prospective double blind, placebo controlled study, based on an original placebo technique, aimed to evaluate the efficacy of percutaneous tibial nerve stimulation (PTNS) in female patients with detrusor overactivity incontinence.
PATIENTS AND METHODS. 35 female patients presenting with detrusor overactivity incontinence non responding to antimuscarinic therapy, were randomly assigned either to PTNS or to control group.
