Health Economics and Management area analyses and evaluates economic policies of health including multidisciplinary competences and experiences. Economists, management researchers, physicians, jurists and experts in health legislation, epidemiologists, experts in statistic and health computer scientists co-operate to the research activity. Principal areas of interest are research and graduate and post graduate training activities. Research activity concerns:
- Public intervention on health
- Analysis and international comparison of health Systems
- Pharmaceutical market and policy
- Relationships between different government levels (central, regional and local)
- Consumer behaviour
- Mental health
- Cost Benefit Analysis
- Technology Assessment
- Econometric research applied to health economics
